Shanghai Pacific Energy Center (SPEC) is a high-tech consulting unit founded in 2001, by Shanghai Tongji University and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.SPEC is a member of US Green Building Council and Shanghai Green Building Council. SPEC, supported by Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. and Tongji Univ., aims at promoting the progress of energy technology to achieve the social and economic sustainable development by studying and providing consultation of energy and green building. Since 2001, SPEC has been energy saving consultant for over 30 projects. The building types conclude factory, office, hotel, hospital, airport, stadium, villa, ect. SPEC Staff Matrix: Total 13 staffs in SPEC. 10 of them are engineers. Among them, 2 are professors in HVAC, 5 are LEED APs, 5 are energy modeling staffs and 3 are project managers.
